The Makati Mass Transportation project was invited to sign on the "Second One Belt One Road Summit". It is the only Philippine infrastructure project signed at the summit. It is the largest amount of contract signed by Shanghai private enterprises at the summit. It is also the first overseas PPP project involving Shanghai private enterprise. It has been included in the Shanghai municipal government's recommended project reserve.
